Staff order doesn’t work

    Hello,
    I got this problem:
    I created some staff members and set the order to “Post Title”. Now, I expected the displayed order of the staff memebers to be in an alphabetical order when using a shortcode like this: [abcf-staff-list id=”3277″]
    But in my eyes in reality it is a total random order. I didn’t find any logic in this order (screenshot of staff-list)
    The order displayed as output of the shortcode is exactly the same as in the screenshot.
    I even added numbers to the Post Title to force an order, but nothing changes.

    So what am I missing?

    Yes, the Order column has to be populated and staff members should show up in this order. Updating the staff member should reset staff order based on the Template Options > Staff Order > Sort Option.

    It has been tested and seems to work as expected. In your case it doesn’t happen. Do you know what database (name,version) are you using?

    Hello,
    sorry there is other stuff going on right now, which made things a bit more complicated. But I hope I got you all information:

    Webserver LiteSpeed on Linux (centos 7.7.1908)
    PHP-Version: 7.4.2
    MySQL-Version: 10.1.44-MariaDB
    Wordpress 5.3.2

    Of course I tried to “reset” the order by setting the order to manual in the template. I saved it and than changed it back to Post Title. Nothing changed, still the same order as before.

    Please use Sort Order instead.
