Stacy 1.3.1. – custom header settings menu disappeared?

  • Hallo and Namaste,

    recently on my website the great theme STACY updated from v1.2.5.3 to 1.3.1, which caused the problem that the header graphic disappeared from the website. I have checked then the admin console, and have seen that the whole menu on “custom header settings” disappeared with v1.3.1.

    Has this item “custom header settings” moved, or has this been ceased completely?

    How I can add the header graphic to the website now?

    Please advise.

    Thanks for contacting us!

    To make the theme as per the review guidelines. Except for design, the custom header feature has not used in the theme, so we have removed the custom header settings from the latest version.
    Sorry for the inconvenience. If you want to add the header graphic, you need to roll back to the previous version 1.2.5.3 and it’s parent theme Spicepress version 1.7.

    Please could you provide the link to the Stacy version 1.2.5.3, as I do not have it at hand.

    Has this older version security issues, which have been fixed in the current version?

    No, there are no security issues in the older version.
