Stackable breaking core block theme color selection
-
Using v3.7.1 Stackable and WordPress Core v6.1.1, with Stackable Global Colors and Typography feature “Use only Stackable colors” disabled, core blocks such as “Separator” color selection are broken such that Theme colors are not visible or selectable.
Note no js error in console, nor any other noted conflict. This is also after disabling all plugins other than Stackable and using Twenty Twenty-Two theme.
Specifically, both Theme and Default color sections are available, but the Theme section is simply showing (duplicating) Default colors rather than Theme colors. Disabling Stackable immediately fixes the issue such that the separate and distinct Theme colors do once again appear in the Theme section and are selectable.
Steps to reproduce:
- Using fresh install of WordPress v6.1.1 with core Twenty Twenty-Two theme and Stackables plugin (only)
- Edit site
- Select “Single” template
- Select existing core “Separator” block (inside nested Group) or create a new “Separator” block
- In editor, go Settings > Block > Color > Background
- Note the five Twenty Twenty-Two core Theme colors are not visible or selectable, but rather in the Theme section is displayed a duplicate set of immediately below Default set of colors.
- Now disable the lone Stackable plugin (no plugins are then enabled), and revisit steps above noting that the five Twenty Twenty-Two core Theme colors are now visible and selectable in Theme color section.
