    Hi Pascal,

I must admit I’m newbie in Plugin development, and it’s not clear to me what the stable tag means. So if I set stable tag to 2.0.6 can I omit the trunk? Shall I always set this tag to the latest stable version? Now I’m including the same code in the trunk folder as in the latest (2.0.6 in this case).

    Best,
    Laza

    Hi,

You can see the folder that the ‘Stable Tag’ is pointing to as your PRODUCTION, and trunk as DEVELOPMENT.
If your trunk/readme.txt has a Stable tag, then all info and sources will come out of that specific tags/x.x.x folder. You can freely change code in trunk without disruption your users.

    Hi Pascal,

Thanks, I have changed it now to 2.0.6. Am I correct (if I follow this logic), the stable tab in the “tags” folder is irrelevant?

    Best, Laza
