Stable tag and Download Version not matching

Hello

I develop a plugin and have noticed the Stable tag in trunk/readme.txt is not being used for the Current version link or the Download Version link.

This has been a problem for the past few plugin updates.

Can anybody advise me where I might be going wrong?
