sso_sp.php Adding Roles

  • Good evening!

    So first let me say thank you for this terrific plugin. I have gained some considerable traction with this by federating with Dell One Identity Cloud Access Manager.

    Being ambitious, I went ahead and decided that I wanted to be able to use custom Roles that I would then use to restrict content with a bunch of different plugins.

    So I have added the roles to the WordPress instance and also added them to the sso_sp.php but get NO love on the update.

    Subsequently, when a new user is added via the group it defaults to the Subscriber role.

    I have updated every reference that i can find but cant seem to figure out where it is supposed to be posting these roles too.

    Any thoughts?

    Wanted to add that the Role is alive and well as I have added them manually and subsequently added the user to the role as well.

    I am even getting the expected result when the user logs in as the content available is filtered based on the Role that his user account is associated with.

    The only thing I need at this point is the ability to have the inbound CLAIM matched and the user added to the group similarly to how it works with the Admin, Author and Subscriber Roles.

    I have tried debugging in fiddler and various debugging utils in WordPress but just cant seem to nab it.

    As you can see, the variables are there, and should theoretically post the same as the rest of the attributes.. I am sure that I am just missing something.

    I just need a lil help i think!
