SSO for multiple WP sites

    Hi,

    We are launching multiple wordpress sites using unique/different domains. Sites are mainly polling/blogging type.

    We have both direct user registration (using WP registration) and social login enabled on the sites (using supersocializer plugin).

    We need users/people to only sign once and have full access to any of the sites in the network for posting/commenting/polling etc.

    We don’t want users to resign to every site because the sites just use different domains but basically same/similar functionality. Each site is based on a different topic.

    We want to capture full user info (emails, first name, last name, etc etc) from social logins like fb, google, instagram, etc.

    Does this plugin allow SSO for all users/visitors/members to multiple WP sites?

    Is this the only plugin we need or is there additional plugins needed as well?

    How many sites can be configured to use the SSO?

    Any limit on number on sites using SSO?

    What is the best and cheapest/affordable option for us to meet our needs.

    What costs are involved (one-time or yearly etc)?

    Please advise.

    Hi,

    Thanks for reaching out to us.

    As per my understanding, you need single sign-on for your multiple WordPress sites hosted on different domains and it’s not a multisite environment, right?

    This can be achieved by making your site (where you have registrations open) as Identity Provider and adding SSO modules on rest of your sites. This will allow single login for your users on all sites. They will log in once and will have full access to any of the sites.

    You will need IdP plugin on the main site and SSO plugin on rest of the sites.

    There is no limit, you can add any number of sites for SSO.

    Yes, no multi-site but all different wordpress sites using different domains but all hosted on the same account/server (VPS account).

    We need SSO for end users i.e. site visitors who will post/comment on the sites.

    Can you please “list ALL the plugins/add-ons” etc we need here….please provide links if you don’t mind so we can review?

    We only have 2 sites at this time which are almost developed but no users yet.

    We plan to add many more sites with same functionality/layout in future.

    I am trying to find suitable/affordable solution.

    Please provide quote for unlimited sites as I can’t give you a number at this time.
    Also advise if the quote is yearly or one-time fee and what it covers.

    Hi,

    Thanks for sending the details.

    For your case, you can setup our SAML IDP plugin on your main wordpress site to make your WordPress site identity provider and use our SAML single sign on plugin on rest of the site for SSO.
