SSL question – external resources

  • We have just added an SSL to a site, but have an issue with browsers displaying a warning because the external resources are pointing at https:// rather than https://

    Is this something that can be globally changed with iThemes Security?

    I found a section on SSL, but there is a warning saying:

    WARNING: Your server does appear to support SSL. Using these features without SSL support on your server or host will cause some or all of your site to become unavailable.

    Even though an SSL has been installed.

    Any pointers on this would be welcome.

  • Hi,

    This wording is going to be updated to be more clear. It’s acknowledging that you do indeed have SSL.

    In the SSL portion of your Settings page you can select “Whole Site”. This will force SSL on the entire site.
