SSL option? load scripts from secure url

The link added into the header is not secure so on websites with secure forms or ecommerce items, the loading of non-ssl items causes the browser to report to visitors a warning that the site isn’t fully secure and its doubtful many visitors will understand this and thus impact purchases?
