SSL Issues on updating

I have had plug in installed for a long time now and really works well.
Updated to Https today and it shows that it caused SSL errors (i.e. linked to insecure resources)
Tested this but deactivating. On reactivation it seems to be losing all my css. (deactivation and cache clearing fixes the problem)

Any thoughts on this?
