• Dear WordPress Team.

I am facing an issue with the Site URL configuratrion, as far as I could see this configuration resides in database in the settings table, but my site is still pointing to http (without www) at some places for e.g. users profile photo. I am using SSL.

Can you please confirm at what all places this configuration resides so I can change it all over. I mainly want to run my site entirely on SSL.

    Regards,
    Deependra Sharma

To do something like this you need to update the config to get the site to force re-direct to https://www.gaming-masters.co.uk for example. The database might need to be updated as well. I have been looking into doing the same thing.

    1. Changing your site from http to https is changing the domain.

    a. Disable any caching and optimization plugins.
    b. Install the plugin “better search and replace”. Search for https://example.com and replace with https://example.com

    2. If your host is not automatically redirecting https://example.com to https://example.com when you’re done, then contact them.

    3. After step 1, logout and delete all cookies relating to your site and clear your brower’s cache.

    4. Login back in, delete “better search and replace” and re-enable caching and optimization plugins.
