SSL in subdirecotory

    Hello and thank you for a fine plugin. I’ve got it working through express checkout in the past but I’m doing a https payment pro set up and have one question

    My host by default provides private ssl certs in a sub directory – secure.domain.com. If I force the normal https process in obviously woocommerce it doesn’t recognize the url as secure. Hacking the site to go through the secure. subdomain causes all the style elements of woocommerce to disappear. Is there a solution to this?

    There are solutions to that, but they can be sort of a pain to deal with and it’s really outside the scope of any general free support I can provide here.

    I could certainly help you with this if you’re interested in purchasing some consulting time, but I really think the best thing for you to do is to get your own SSL for your domain. It will look better for your customers and you won’t have to hassle with stuff like this. They’re not expensive. You can get one for $75/year or so.

    To others in the same situation – IMHO purchase a new ssl. It’s a right git to get Woocommerce to use a subdiretory
