Going through the standard installation and keep getting the error at the stage ‘We will now generate your SSL Certificate’:

“Authorization not complete yet” followed by “Attempt 2. The order is invalid, possibly due to too many authorization attempts”.

I have tried across multiple browsers, on different days, and it keeps getting stuck and returning this error.

    Any help appreciated with this.

    Please check for issues here:
    https://letsdebug.net/

And try a full reset with the ‘reset let’s encrypt’ link at the right top in the wizard. Let me know if that helps.

I used the reset link a few times, and letsdebug has come back with “All OK”. Same issue occurring. Thanks for the assistance.

It’s hard to know for sure, but maybe your server does not support OCSP stapling. We have a branch ready with an added option to disable OCSP stapling. Can you try installing this one:
    https://github.com/Really-Simple-Plugins/really-simple-ssl/tree/disable-ocsp

Then disable OCSP stapling in the general settings?

This is all very odd because I have two websites hosted with the same provider, lcn.com

Both on WordPress, one had no problems and is running Really Simple SSL right now. However this other one just refuses to work.

I will look into your suggestion, but im afraid I am only an amateur.

    Hi @throwaway1992,

Any updates? Have you been able to get this up and running using the version/branch that @rogierlankhorst attached previously?

Just let us know if you have any further information about this.

    Kind regards,
    Jarno

This turned out to be an error caused by my hosting company. It appears they block Simple SSL from working as they sell their own SSL services. I had to ask them to be allowed to activate it, which I was only allowed to do as a “legacy” customer. Working fine now thanks.
