• Hello guys!

I moved my website to a new host, but now I get “certificate error”, “this certificate is self-signed” from my antivirus. Also I get “do you want to continu to this site” and this warning will chase away a lot of my visitors since they are afraid to click anything.

I am using the “Let’s encrypt SSL certificate”. Does anyone have an idea about how to fix it? I tried searching for an answer, but with no result. I realize its holiday season so I don’t expect any replies fast.

Here is a link to the error:

    Happy holidays!

    who is your webhosting vendor?
check to be sure that the SSL certificate is still valid and connected properly to you site.
often the webhosting vendor is the place to start since some webhosting vendors install the SSL certificate in your webhosting server area.
if you moved to a new host, you might need to change the setup of certificate.

I am moving from “siteground.com” to “byethost.com”. The SSL is “Let’s Encrypt”.

Currently I am re-updating the wordpress files and database, as I got a problem maybe after trying to install the latest version (5.02), maybe its do to a different reason, I don’t know.

I will post the link to the website when I solve the problems.

    Update:
    Now i get “ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID”.

I transferred the private key and certificate to the new server. Perhaps there should be some conversion which I am missing?

If you are still struggling with this error, please check this guide to trash this issue.
