Only if you are using one of the on-site payment gateway options. This is not needed for PayPal Express, PayPal Standard or 2CO.

Side note and totally unrelated to this topic: @kimannwall Could you please get yourself added as a Plugin Contributor for this plugin?

It appears that you work for or with the author and getting that done would avoid confusion when you reply to these plugin topics. ??

I am using Stripe, which requires a SSL. I have SSL set up on my main domain but not on my sub-domain.

Trying to figure out the best way to use this membership plugin?

If you have sub-domains that need SSL protection you may need a “wildcard” SSL.

    Thanks Kim!

I just purchased the wildcard SSL cert and am having it installed on my sub-domain.

Finding it best to Keep the checkout process simple! : )
