SSL Backup

  • Hi There,

    Firstly want to say that your plugin is excellent!

    Secondly, I have encountered an issue when importing the clone from a SSL site using the URL from the source site as well as using the Drop Box method.

    The message I get on the target site is;

    The plugin encountered an error while extracting the zip file using WP’s zip file extractor,the following error message was returned:

    Error Message : Incompatible Archive.

    Am I right to assume the issue is due to the SSL or could it be something else?

    The export file is 1.3GB in size.

  • this normally happens when it has downloaded an html document (usually an error page) instead of the zip file.
    there’s a good chance that the downloaded files are still in wp-content directory, they have a random name with .tmp as the extension, download one to your PC and open it with a text editor. if it’s an html file, it should point to what’s causing it.
