Up until the last few days the plugin has been adding srcset with no problems. For some reason it has stopped. I have turned off all other plugins and removed the functions.php from the child theme and it still doesn’t seem to work.

We are using Avada theme from theme forest and woocommerce.

Any help with torubleshooting would be appreciated.

    thanks,

    dp

Just looked at uploads directory and it is creating the variety of image sizes required.

So, we’ve got that going for us.

    Hi DP,

The big change we made to version 2.5 was to add srcset and sizes on the display rather than adding the code directly to your post content. When you save your posts and then look at them on the front end, you should see the responsive markup included.

Let me know if this is not the case and we can dig into what may have changed.

    Thanks,
    Joe

That is indeed the case. I guess I should read the documentation more closely. Thank you for the quick response.

It may save you a bit of trouble if you include one of those notices at the top of the dashboard telling folks about the change so they don’t panic when srcset doesn’t appear in the editor.

    Thanks for a great plugin!

No worries. We definitely do a better job of communicating that change. Thanks.
