    For some reason, Squareup payment plugin has to reconnect and verify every now and then! Three times in three days now. Have spoken to Squareup, this is their email response:

    Although Square integrates with WooCommerce to process payments, the integration is operated and managed by WooCommerce. For help with WooCommerce-specific questions, you’ll need to submit a ticket with their support team.

    The WooCommerce Customer Support team should be able to help you with all Square integration related questions, however, if they are unable to resolve your issue, please let me know in a reply to this email and include your ticket/case number with WooCommerce support.

    Can anybody point me to a reason for this, please?

  • We also have this problem. We have lost 6 orders in the last few weeks. There is no indication that we are aware of when the verification fails, just a “failed order” email when it happens to a customer. We log the square plugin errors to the Woocommerce log and they always show authentication error. Would appreciate a resolution to this.

    Thank you for letting us know about this problem! There was indeed a bug in the previous Square plugin versions that caused some sites to randomly disconnect. We’ve included a fix for this in the latest version 2.0.5 so this shouldn’t happen anymore.

    If you’re still seeing your sites disconnecting after updating to 2.0.5, we’ll need to check them in details, as we’re unable to reproduce the same problem on any of our test sites. In such case, please create an administrator account for [email protected] on your site, and submit a support ticket at https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/ so that we can check this.

    Thank you but, I have switched to a different plugin now.

    Cliff, did you switch to a different Square/Woo integration plugin? If so, which one? I also need to make this integration but this particular plugin isn’t looking so hot.
