    A client texted this morning about a failed refund. The message was “Square Refund Failed: Invalid API Method.” Can’t find anything about this and I am hoping someone can help figure out what the problem is and how to fix it.

    I understand you are receiving this message: Square Refund Failed: Invalid API Method When processing a refund.

    As a first step, please share a copy of your site’s System Status Report: You can get it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.?

    Thanks for sending the system status report.

    I understand you are receiving a Square Refund Failed: Invalid API method?when processing a refund.

    I am wondering if the plugin “Autoship Cloud” is related to this, or if it is able to work with the Square API, can you please temporarily disable this plugin on your site, create a test order, and then try to process the refund?

    If the refund goes through, I’d recommend to reach out to the Autoship Cloud plugin support, they can provide you with more information.

    In the meantime, if your customer is not able to wait, or if it is an urgent request, you can manually process the original refund from your Square account dashboard and then make sure to change the order status to “Refunded”.
