This is more of a question than an issue. Does the Square Plugin for woocommerce support Multisite? We would like to have several store locations (woocommerce stores) and utilize the square plugin to sync inventory date from the Square location and their respective woocommerce instance. We now have two physical store locations and need to have their online stores independent from an inventory standpoint to allow for curbside pickup, etc.

  • Hello,

Square for WooCommerce is able to support a multisite environment. I mean, for multiple sites, you can use the Square account with same location on multiple sites.

    I hope this helps.

I’m referring to a WordPress multisite where you have a network of WordPress sites that share the same database, plug-ins, etc. but each site is independent from a config standpoint. I’m wondering if the square plug-in can be independently configured for each site in the network.

    Hello @tschoch,

I’m referring to a WordPress multisite where you have a network of WordPress sites that share the same database, plug-ins, etc.

I run my test site on WordPress.com which is basically one giant multi-site network and the Square integration works fine.

That said, I’m not sure whether your specific configuration might cause issues. The best way to test this is by just installing the plugin. : )

You don’t need to fully commit and configure everything in Square, you can just use Sandbox mode.

    Hope this helps!
