    Hello @ferero,

We are getting an error when trying to run test transactions on our website. See URL: https://prnt.sc/NnK8kv9-iQuj

I understand that you’ve encountered an error while attempting a test purchase using Square as your payment gateway. Could you please clarify a few details for us to better understand the situation?

    • Is this happening to Booking products or all product types?
    • Is the payment happening instantly or after the order has been made?
    • Is your Square API keys valid?

Could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

Look forward to hearing back from you.

    Hello Saif,

    Thanks for the prompt response.

Yes, it’s happening as soon as payment is made on the website i.e. when a booking appointment is completed. I don’t have access to the dashboard right now, but I can get the System Status later. For now, that’s what’s going on. From what I can see, the API codes are valid.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the screenshot provided.

To clarify, can you please navigate to WooCommerce > System Status > Logs (Please check if there is an error message generated related to Square).

I am asking for more details to get more information about the error.

Once you have the error log, please check if there is a section like this one:

    [category] => AUTHENTICATION_ERROR
[code] => UNAUTHORIZED [detail] => This request could not be authorized.

If the error is different, please let us know as well.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Well, there are no WooCommerce products listed on the site. It’s only a Booking application that makes use of the Square Payment Gateway as the primary payment processor. When an order is placed on the front end, it generates the error message mentioned before, and that’s the issue.

    Hi @ferero

Thanks for your confirmation that this is happening to booking products only using the Square payment gateway.

Can you please share how booking products were added to your site as this is not part of the core functions of WooCommerce?

If this was added thru a third-party plugin or a custom code, it would be best to reach out to the developers for further assistance here.

Meanwhile, if you are referring to the premium plugin WooCommerce Bookings here and you have a valid license with us, can you please open a support request for us to investigate further about your issue?

    Thanks!

    Hello,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.

    Thanks.
