    Hello,
    its been weeks now that nearly every order fails at least once because of this:
    Square Payment Failed (Status code INVALID_VALUE: The charge amount does not match the order total.) Order status changed from Pending payment to Failed.

    I have contacted Square which were of no help, and woocommerce who told me to update square and woocommerce to compatible versions (one was outdated at the time). Still not working.

    I’m sorry to hear that you can’t accept payments with Square, payment issues are absolutely frustrating. Let’s get it sorted!

    To determine why it’s happening, can you please follow these steps:

    – enable logging in WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > Square:

    – place a test order on your site. You can create a test product with $1 price to do that
    – check logs in WooCommerce > Status > Logs > choose square_credit_card from the drop-down:

    Please send us the logs via https://pastebin.com/ but please remove any sensitive data from there.

    If your test payment goes through, please leave logging enabled and provide us with the logs for a failed order that you have on your site or wait until one is placed.

    In addition to my reply above, can you please advise if order with the same ID (that failed) exists in Square dashboard > Transactions?

    I see that the same error can happen when a transaction with the same ID exists in Square but not on your site. One of the reasons how that can happen is a backup restore which would wipe orders on your site so the same order IDs are being reused.

    Did anything like this happen on your site?
