Square Location Inventory showing not available instead of available

    There is an issue now. Our Square item library keeps changing to 1 location instead of All Location. This affects us a lot because the item won’t be scanned. To fix this problem, our staff has to manually change it back to All Location on Square. This issue happened after the integration between WordPress and Square. Can you look into this problem please? 

    To let you understand what I am talking about, please see the screenshot below. This is a screenshot from Square Dashboard where the item library is. As you can see, under the red circle “Locations”, it supposes should be all showing as “All Locations”, but some items will change to “Social pets Bernard” instead of “All locations”. When this happens, this item won’t scan when the customer buys it in the shop, so our staff has to find this item in the library list first, then change it back to “All Location”, then sell it to the customer.?

    The 1st?times when these issues happened it happened after we have done the integration of WordPress and Square and uploaded the products. When we found out the issue, we manually changed them back to All Locations. Last Friday, these issues happened again. They changed back to 1 location instead of All Locations. We just fixed them again.

    Hello @sakina990,

    I understand that after integrating the extension on your site, products are being limited to one location only in the Square dashboard.

    The extension is meant to sync product details such as title, price, and category, so I’m not sure how it’s overriding the location, especially since WooCommerce doesn’t offer a “product per location” feature by default. Could you please attach a copy of your sync settings from WooCommerce > Settings > Square?

    Also, please attach a copy of your site’s system status report. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    I attempted to sync products multiple times to replicate the issue, but the products remain available in all locations. Additionally, your site’s system status report appears healthy.

    May I ask if you have added new locations in Square recently or if you’ve noticed any patterns when this happens? Your syncing is set to a 24-hour interval, so if the problem originates from the extension, the locations should change daily. Is this indeed what’s happening?

Since online if I have 6 stocks of a product, one is purchased online, so the stock will be 5 in WordPress and in square also?

    Yes, orders made on your WooCommerce store will reduce the stock count in Square just make sure you have the following option enabled in the plugin settings.

    Hi there, i had a problem regarding this plugin. for all my simple product the plugin is showing the correct stock but for the variable ones, the stock is not showing. it shows 0, though i have already added thAT product with proper stock levels in my store using the same SKU.

    I understand the variable products are not syncing as expected on your end.

    Does your variable products have multiple attributes? I am asking because WooCommerce has support for multiple attributes, but it is not the same for Square. Which means that products with multiple attributes will not be synced properly.

    I have just 1 attribute for all products, for some it’s size and for some it’s taste.

    But per a single product, i have only 1 attribute defined. still it’s not reflecting the quantities which i have defined in square.

    I have also ticked the ‘sync with square’ box.
