Square for Woo generates gift card image in media library

A pink ‘gift card’ image auto-generates in the media library with Square for WooCommerce activated. I filed a support ticket, but as it’s a ‘free’ plugin, they say to go to the forums, even though I’ve had clients spend thousands on paid Woo plugins. If you try to delete the image with the plugin active, it regenerates itself twice. The only way to delete it is to deactivate the plugin, but as soon as you reactivate the plugin, the image appears in the media library again. It would appear that the site or plugin has somehow been compromised for this to happen, but it’s happened on more than one website that uses Square for WooCommerce. Why does it add that image (that will never be used, as we don’t offer any kind of gift card) and why can’t it be deleted? The image is already in the plugin’s files, so it really does not need to live in the media library as well. As a webmaster who likes to keep a ‘clean’ media library, this is unacceptable behavior for any plugin.
