I am not able to connect my WP website to the Drupal site. This is the error I get: Couldn’t read the Drupal database SQLite file:(path.to.drupal.site).
In the path, I have tried using the complete path, including the URL; I have tried, only using the path that shows in the Drupal settings.php file (sites/default/files/.domainname.sqlite ; I have tried several versions of that, but still the same error.

I saw the workaround about being on different servers (which they are) but I am unable to download the sqlite db into a mysql db. What now?

If Drupal and WordPress are stored on different servers, you must copy the Drupal database to the WordPress server before running the import.
If it is a SQLite database, just copy the sqlite file to the WordPress server.
If it is a MySQL database, you must export the Drupal database to a .sql file and import it on the WordPress database.
