SQL_CALC_FOUND_ROWS Error when performing WP_User_Query

Actual error:

[12-Feb-2019 10:35:33 America/New_York] WordPress database error Attempted SELECT FOUND_ROWS() without prior SQL_CALC_FOUND_ROWS. for query SELECT FOUND_ROWS() made by WP_User_Query::query

I’m getting this error whenever I perform a WP_User_Query while HyperDB is installed. I receive no error with HyperDB disabled.

I’m not sure what’s causing this. The query performs as expected without any client errors. I’ve tried re-writing my queries, but even with the codex example, I get the same error with -any- WP_User_Query.
