SQL query upon plugin activation

    When I install and activate the plugin I see the following error in the logs

    You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'IF' at line 1

    Please share your MySQL version number. You can find this at Tools > Site Health.

    Hi and thank you for replying. This is the version:

    Server version: 5.7.39-42-log
    Client version: mysqlnd 7.4.33
