    Good morning.
I assume this issue has been around since the beginning of WordPress, however, it really is unacceptable to have a website redirect to the install page when SQL queries have reached their limit.
This allows the general public to ‘reinstall’ your website from scratch.
Our web hosting company, iPage indicates the only way around this is to buy additional query limits.
I have renamed ‘install.php’ as a stopgap, but would really appreciate any input into a real solution to this issue

    Many thanks.

  • I think better idea would be deny acces to that file in .htaccess file, bc. after update your install.php will be back.
