    I am trying to move a site from one host to another. With the current host I do not have access to the cPanel so I used WP-DB-Backup to create a database file. When I import to our new host I am getting the following error:

    Error
    SQL query:

    INSERT INTO wp_options
    VALUES ( 2888629, ‘_transient_timeout_wpsc_customer_meta__sQpyQE)8XaDM’, ‘1393320664’, ‘no’ ) ;

    MySQL said: Documentation

    #1062 – Duplicate entry ‘2888629’ for key ‘PRIMARY’

    I am unsure what to do at this point? I have tried dumping ALL of the database files and starting from an empty database but still a no go.

    Hmmm.. without access to the db can be a bit tricky, have you asked your hosting support? maybe they can install your db.

    Or try using the WP export tool.

    I used WP-DB-Backup to export the database. Then on the new host I’m using phpMyAdmin import to import the database. I have a number of plugins for shopping cart items and I can not lose those settings.

    “Or try using the WP export tool.”

    Isn’t that the same as using WP-DB-Backup? If I use export in WordPress and then upload it does not bring over all the settings – I tried. I’d have to redo everything almost from scratch.

    The old host we don’t even want to go to – they are the reason we are switching holding everything hostage. Had to fight just to get an FTP login!
