• Hi There,

Today I did the update to 2.9.3 of Relevanssi. Till now it worked great. Now after the update I always get a SQL error after uploading an image in my media store. This error appears right after the upload is finished:

WordPress database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1]
    DELETE FROM wp_relevanssi WHERE doc=

WordPress database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1]
DELETE FROM wp_relevanssi_excerpt_cache WHERE post =
    846

    Has anyone an idea?

    Thanks & regards,
    Michael

Hmm, might be a bug with the new systems… I didn’t check uploading media. I’ll have to see if I can repeat this on my test blog.

Strange – I have no idea why WordPress would activate a post delete hook when uploading an image.

As a quick fix I would recommend turning off MySQL errors =) That of course only hides the problem, but well, at least it hides it.

I’ll have to try to figure out what WordPress is doing and how can I prevent it, but that might be tricky.

Ok, I found what causes this. It’s an old bug, nobody has just noticed it before. I’ll fix it in the next version.
