The table is not there. I tried the steps are mentioned, nothing changed.
TranslatePress is working fine, i only get these SQL error messages on Top in my Dashboard everywhere..

  • I have a similar error message:

    last_error
    disable_automatic_translations Yes
details Missing table wp_trp_gettext_en_gb . To regenerate tables, try going to Settings->TranslatePress->General tab and Save Settings.

    Regenerate does not help.

    Hello @sethlein,

I’ll ask this just to make sure.

After you did the suggested regenerate table (Settings->TranslatePress->General tab and Save Settings) has that trp_gettext table appeared in the database or not?

Normally, doing that will generate all the tables that you need in order for TP to properly work.

    Best regards,
    Cristian

    Hi @cristiandraghia,
Yes i did These steps, no difficult thing ??

But unfortunately the missing table is not generated again.

    Kind regards
    Sethlein

    Hello @sethlein,

This might be a strange thing to say, but to me, it looks like you are using German language (the lang html parameter is equal to de-DE).
The table you are getting the error for is for German (formal) with the lang parameter de-de-formal.

If that’s actually the case, then you are getting an error for a table that you don’t need (and it can’t be generated because you don’t use German formal).

I’m actually not sure why this error happens in the first place. It might be something that happened in the last update.

Let me know if that’s the case (if you are using German or German formal language) and I’ll let our development team about this notification that happens when it shouldn’t.

    Best regards,
    Cristian

    Hi @cristiandraghia,
    Thanks for Your fast supply.
Yeah that could be the point. I think before the Update, the default languages was german formal, i don’t know anymore. – After the Update it Switches to normal german.
Thats no Problem for our Page, but like you mentioned – a strange thing.

Even when it Switches the languages, it should Not need any further tables from “other” languages i think.

If you would provide this Information to Your development Team, that would be nice. In need, we can have a Session together and have a Look on our site, if necessary.

    Thanks and Kind regards
    Max

    Hello,

We still weren’t able to find out why this error happens in the first place.

What we know is that despite being an error, it doesn’t affect the way your site works as the tables you require are actually there.

If we figure out why this happens, we will let you know.

    Best regards,
    Cristian

    Hello @sethlein and @peterpine,

The error should be fixed in our newest update (1.9.6).
It shouldn’t show up from now on, but if it does, please let us know.

    Best regards,
    Cristian
