SQL database migration

  • I have to migrate hosting of several WordPress sites from Hostgator to GoDaddy. I’d like to migrate the database using MySQL Administrator.

    How can I give permission at both hosting to MySQL Administrator? I have access of both cPanels.

  • That’s probably a MySQL question moreso than a WordPress.

    I would think you just add the IP address in the CPanel to allow MySQL connections but this is coming from a non-MySQL expert
