Spun. Visitors Can't See Buttons.

I’m using the theme Spun, which is visually what I want, but visitors are telling me they can’t see where to expand the page or comment because the buttons over which to hover. It’s the same color as the white background… design flaw.

Any ideas how to change this so it’s more obvious to readers?
