sprite problem in side widget

  • Hello,

    I was wondering if anyone has encountered a problem with using sprites in an HTML side bar widget? I have done all of the coding and it works fine in a normal HTML doc but for some reason in WordPress you can see the transition between the sprites. You can see the images moving to get into the hover position which can look ok if my client wanted an animation effect! I can’t show the wordpress version because it’s not live yet but here you can see it works fine in an HTML doc:

    Any help would be great. I would really love to be able to use something as simple as sprites in WordPress

  • Perhaps there is other CSS affecting the sprite on the WP site?? Have you looked at it using Firebug? See if the ID’s and classes you used are used anyplace else?
