sportspress plugin instaling error

  • Hello Suppot,

    We have install Big slam Basketball theme sucessfully. But the “SportsPress” plugin is not activating as it gives below error,
    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare sp_get_team_name() (previously declared in /home2/mtbnatio/public_html/wp-content/themes/bigslam/plugins/sportspress/event-list-item.php:59) in /home2/mtbnatio/public_html/wp-content/plugins/sportspress/includes/sp-api-functions.php on line 308

    I have tried to redonwload the latest plugin from WordPress repository but still same error appearing. Pl fix this issue so that we can use this plugin in theme.

    Thanks for reaching out!

    It looks like it’s an issue with the theme. Please kindly enable the twenty sixteen theme and you’ll see what I mean.

    You could try sending this error message to the theme authors, as it looks like there’s a conflicting function they need to fix.
