Hello WP Mail SMTP by WPForms support,

Unfortunately I get an error message with the statement in irregular intervals:

“E-MAIL Dispatch ERROR: The plugin WP Mail SMTP v2.2.1 has logged this error during the last attempt to send an e-mail. mailer: Other SMTP connection, SMTP Error: data not accepted. Please review your SMTP settings in…”

This error disappears after I send a test email and the rest of the email traffic works fine in the whole system.

    Greetings,
    Chris

  • Hi @bv2019admin,

Thanks for reaching out. The error message appears if the last email sent from your site failed and disappears after the successful email. This means some emails from your site is sent with the improper format, possibly with the different ‘From Email’ then you have in WP Mail SMTP. Please check the ‘From Email’ in WP Mail SMTP if it matches the SMTP username and checks ‘Force From Email’ option under the From Email option.

This is because all the emails from your site should be sent from an authenticated sender.

    I hope this helps!

Hi @bv2019admin – We haven’t heard from you in about a week, so I’m going to go ahead and mark this ticket resolved. If you still have questions, though, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.
