unable to leave comments

    Not sure why users seem to be unable to leave comments… I set the posts and the blog in general to allow it – or at least i think i did – there were settings in “discussion” that i clicked.

    I’ve done a search and tried the following

    You’d need to add the comments code into your page template.

    Stick this before the endwhile –

    <?php comments_template(); ?>

    to no avail.

    I’ve made sure all posts have the “allow comments” box checked and the settings/discussion panel has the “Allow people to post comments on the article” box checked.

    Clicking on “no comments” on my blog just refreshes the page – no individual page with comments input boxes…

    Is there something else I should do?

    come on… does Anyone know anything else I can do to make it work> I looked through the controls and did everything I can think of there. I’ve searched through the forum and haven’t found a working solution here either.

    Is there a real support system of any kind for WordPress?

    I deleted the one comment that was there after install (so now I have none at all) – could that have screwed it up?

    Is the question too hard? Is noone reading this? Why no help :(?

    Not even from a mod?

    Check what you’ve got in Settings>Wordpress address and Blog address. It looks like you’ve got WordPress installed in a folder but your permalinks are pointing to the root. In both you should have https://heroesnhunks.com/wordpress

    You can get comments by going to https://heroesnhunks.com/wordpress/?p=14, for example, so your template is fine.

    THANKS FOR REPLY! I had originally planned to have Blog at root level – but installer put it in a folder and i fogot to change “Blog address.”

    That is all the help I needed!!!!!!
