spoilers( /-) suddenly not opening or collapsing

Just wanted to create a separate subject, and you have the same problem) Also I would like solutions.

Any ideas or solutions about this would be great – it seems to be quite a common issue and no one has posted a solution yet. Shall I look for a new spoiler plugin?

I think this is a jquery problem bc I have the same issues with another accordion/tabs/spoiler plugin. Maybe it’s an update problem, any solutions are highly appreciated…

Did you update the WP 4.5 update because that’s where my issues stem from?

The Update to WP 4.5 messed up some stuff. I am using the “tabs” and they are not working as intended.

Here is hoping for an update of this great plugin.

Same thing here, right after I ugraded with WP 4.5 !
I have another website with WordPress 4.4.2 and it works !

By the way, it doesn’t work even though I reload the page as it is mentionned above.

anchises – same issue with the tabs – slider/YouTube/Gmap all work fine but the tabs is just not tabbing! Lets hope a fix comes quick as every post uses tabs and I have 1200 posts to re-format if I don’t get any update tomorrow as I can’t wait any longer.

It might be an issue with some of the themes, which use JavaScript-functions, which are no longer supported.

This stops the execution of all Scripts on the whole page.

At least thats it for me.

To test this just change to one of the default WordPress themes (like “TwentySixteen”) and see if it works.

anchises : My tabs are working again when I set the “Twenty Thirteen” theme…

I’ll ask the maker of my theme if it does use Javascript-functions.

I was just able to fix this problem in my site like so…

I looked at the browser error console and saw some JS errors referencing something like a[href=#scroll-top] not existing. So I searched through the files of my theme (Responsive Pro) for a snippet of JS code related to a[href=#scroll-top] and commented the code out that uses that.

Now my Shortcodes Ultimates spoilers work fine.

Hello everyone,

I am doing various tests I managed to solve the problem of the tab, toogle, etc slider, replacing the main.js files of my theme. It states that the authors of my theme have released an update on the day of release version 4.5 of wordpress, so if for you is the same thing happened this might solve the problem.

P.S: In my case I had to replace the file in the parent theme and not in the child theme.
