Splitting a drop-down page-menu between header and footer
-
Hello,
I am trying to list pages in TWO horizontal drop-down menus. Some pages (and their children) should be listed in the header and some in the footer area.
I found a plug-in: css-drop-down-menu which nicely places ONE menu wherever you want, with the option to exclude certain pages.
I now need help with creating TWO instances of the menu (with mutually excluding pages) and don’t know how to do. I thought of copying the complete plug-in into a new folder, rename the CSS and PhP and solve the problem by essentially loading the plugin twice (one for the header and the renamed one in the header) but that doesn’t seem right.
An additional problem is that the menu in the footer area should drop-UP and not DOWN.
I’d appreciate if anyone has come across solutions to this kind of problem – be it with another plug-in for drop-down menus or the one I am using and could provide some pointers.
Thank you for you help,
/David
