Split-View Html Code/Visual Post Editor, plugin?

  • I just had the idea, that it would be cool to have a split view code and visual editor, much like in Dreamweaver, etc.
    The Backend post editor now has a toggle, to turn on one or the other, but it would be cool to have split view panels as an option, with code in the top or bottom view and the visual editor in the other.

    I didn’t see a plugin, on first look to accomplish this.
    Sounds like a great idea though, and maybe there is something somewhere to add the functionality.

    Just happened on this alternate post editor ‘Sir Trevor WP’ plugin. This one is certainly re-imagined with it’s use of JS and adding blocks at a time, similar to a page builder, in it’s use.

    Off-topic already though, just noticed it does not have the split view.
    So many visual editor alternatives then. For certain clients it might be a win.
