Split same products

    Hello,

    first of all great plugin! ??

    I am trying to split an order which has the same product in quantity >1.

    I’ve already split the same product in two if the quantity is >1 (with custom function) like this : https://prntscr.com/midyn7

    but then i’m trying to split this order with your plugin to 1 + 1 product orders but its impossible.

    If i order 2 different products the split works fine.

    Is there any solution to this?

    There is a quantity split checkbox under settings tab but i you are right, that qty split option works for multiple products with qty>1 not for the same product. I didn’t hear this requirement before so couldn’t work on it. Hopefully in next versions i will check this possibility.

    Thanks a lot for your answer, this works fine for me. But also have one more problem.

    When i enable the default automatic split action and and order is splitted automatically, i can’t access orders tab. The error i get is : “ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS”

    Should i open a new ticket for this?

    No need to open a ticket for this, i will check it immediately because it’s a serious issue if it’s happening for all.

    I have just tested this case and couldn’t find the exact issue with default automatic settings. So there are two possibilities that why are you getting this error.

    1) Either you are trying with some different types of products, maybe mix of variable and/or same product with variations. I mean, a case which i couldn’t check with yet. But we can test it together on our demo website.

    2) You were trying orders one after one and later when you accessed your orders page so all at once, script started splitting. Due to a number of items in database, it took time to get processed and you got this error.

    P.S. Anyways, i am not leaving you alone. I am available and really interested to check this problem so i can make this software, bug free.

    I’m trying to split an order with the same product in qty>1. Tested with a specific product. I also have a staging area where we can make tests.

    Also noticed two things :

    1) When i deactivate the plugin i can open the orders page correctly
    2) The number of total orders is way larger than the actual one. https://prntscr.com/ml3cyi

    Ok, so me should try with the same product but multiple qty? And then auto split as default? I am ready to test it with you on your staging site.

    I’ve tested it and successfully reproduced this problem, hopefully we will fix it and release a bug free version soon.
