    Hello,

We have a few questions with order splitting.

1.) We know that it is possible to split orders by product category. However, we are using dokan and the question is, if a vendor sells items from different categories, is it possible to split the order automatically?

2.) would the vendor be able to see in his dashboard the new order and can manage them?

3.) is there a way to split automatically based on catecories AND quantity from a specific product? Or is only one rule possible? Or lets say, can the plugin work with different rules?

    Thanks & cheers
    Nik

Yes, it splits orders by vendors. Screenshot

2.) would the vendor be able to see in his dashboard the new order and can manage them?

It depends on your plugin which you are using for managing vendors. Our plugin splits the orders and all orders are visible in order list under WooCommerce.

3.) can the plugin work with different rules?

Yes, you can define global ratio for all categories to be splitted on quantity base. See the screenshot and for different rules for different categories you can define ratio like this.

    Hello @fahadmahmood @ibulbworksupport

    Thanks.

We tried to make it work with dokan. but we have no pro version yet and are not able to split by vendor. But we can split by products but we guess this is not working. Maybe we made a error in config. The order is splitted and the vendor is set. But the new orders are not visible in dokan dashboard for the vendors.

You mentoined in the description that your plugin supports now WCFM Markedplace. Can you maybe test if dokan works because we cant test this because of we have no pro version and we are 100% sure if we did the things right. We are very interested to use your plugin but it is a MUST that vendor would see splitted order as you can imagine. ??

    Cheers

@niikk screenshots and recorded video based explanation would help us better. We are not working for Dokan yet. Is it a WooCommerce compatible plugin? You are expecting child orders to be appeared under vendors accounts, we are storing meta_data as regarding vendor identification in orders which can be retrieved or queried differently. But if you are expecting something plug and play so as I answer before that we are not claiming the compatibility with Dokan.

    Hello @fahadmahmood

Sure, i will make a video when I’m back home.

But in the meantime, Dokan is a WooCommerce compatible plugin. It is actually one of the bioggest multivendor plugin for WooCommerce. I already started a discussion in the FB Dokan community about this topic. We guess, this can be usefull for alot of dokan users if this should work in a way.

Dokan it self does create sub order for each vendor. But there are other cases where your plugin can make a different or let’s say a addon!

Example: Split orders into multiple sub orders when a customer orders 20 items. But a vendor has only boxes to ship by 10. so two orders are needed in order to make sure that the whole tracking is proper build.

@niikk I appreciate the details you provide. We will wait for the video and might will request you to setup a demo/staging for us so we can work on compatibility in a better way. You will not see delays from our side. Please proceed.
