Split month sitemap on specific number of posts

  • Hello, can the sitemap of the month be divided by a number of posts? like 300 and create something like /sitemap-posttype-post.202008-1.xml, /sitemap-posttype-post.202008-2.xml, I am managing a site with many posts per month and most of the sitemaps of the month are not loading (error 500) or it takes a long time to load.

  • Hi, no the current monthly split is the best that can be done currently. A split by post number will come in a future release.

    How many posts do you have in those months that return an error 500?

    Hi, it is an approximate of 6000 6200 posts per month in the last 3 or 4 months.

    If in the future it is going to be able to split by a number it would be very helpful.
