split menu not working

  • I am trying to just get a basic split menu set up using the gantry framework and gantry theme? How do i get it working??

    I have set the option for the gantry menu to the SplitMenu option and I have put the menu in the navigation widget position on the “default settings” page override.

    I have also tried putting it into the header and top positions but nothing seems to work.

    Please help!

  • I am not sure if you are still looking for a solution to this problem, but if so I have something that might interest you.

    I wrote a plugin called WP Nav Plus, it is built upon the power of the built in wordpress menu system, however my plugin adds the ability to configure the start depth of the menu. So you can easily do a split menu like you are trying to do. It can be used either as a widget, or if you are an advanced user you can use the function right in your templates.
