Split items when buying shipping

    If an order has 5 items, how can I select what gets ship now verses later?

    Example, an order has 3 items that are ready to be shipped now and 2 items aren’t ready to be shipped.

    So when I go to the shipping label in the order it shows that 5 items are ready to be fulfilled, even though only 3 items are ready.

    The other 2 items are being fulfilled by a pod, Printful. So when I select to print a label I only want to select the 3 items that are ready.

    Is this possible to do using this plugin?

    To get to the point, unfortunately the WooCommerce Shipping & Tax plugin does not offer the ability to select only a few items to fulfill or create labels for, natively.

    One possible solution would be to split the order in 2 (or more) parts: one part of the order can be fulfilled using the WooCommerce Shipping plugin, the other part can be fulfilled by Printful (in your case).

    There are a few WordPress/WooCommerce plugins that can solve for this, but unfortunately we can’t endorse any specific ones.

    You can either use a plugin to split the order in the admin area manually (post checkout) or there are even some plugins that can automate this for you (e.g.: by assigning different tags/categories on your products, so that all the “T-Shirt”s go together in one order and all the other products can go to another one).

    Thanks Francesco. I appreciate your explanation of that. I searched everywhere on WooCommerce for an answer and couldn’t find it.

    As a suggestion for you guys, in the FAQ’s and article for WooCoommerce and Printful integration it would great for others to probably put that in there so people know ahead of time.
