Split feed per x products (Pinterest)

  • Is there any option to split main feed to y feeds per x products? For example, we have Pinterest XML feed with 319 products, which we need to split to 4 feeds: 100-100-100-19 products.

    I’m asking because Pinterest bot can’t load images (190 products out of 319) – Error 4028. Nothing helps, even Crawl-delay, deactivating firewall, adding Pinterest bot IPs to Whitelist etc. I think it is because some request limit.

    Our accesslog and errorlog show nothing. Due to accesslog, Pinterest connects only to XML feed, not images.

    Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

    Unfortunately it is not possible to split feeds based on number of products in the feed.

    Perhaps you can create separate feeds based on categories for example, or another criteria? Would that be an option?

    Hi,

    thank you for your answer. This is really the only option (without coding own extension or using external tool). But at least we know, that it is possible to split feeds and load multiple feeds in Pinterest. Anyway, it didn’t resolve our issue with Pinterest, but we were able to perform the test with smaller feeds.
