Split Cells containing asterisks (*) in export

I am using the latest github version. I’m unable to create enough form fields (new ones get automatically deleted for some reason) to export my form with check boxes as individual columns. I therefore need to export the data and split the cells containing * automatically, so that the resulting data is properly filterable. How can I do this?
