Split auto delete revisions

Is it possible to consider to split the auto delete option for pages and posts (in an upcoming release)?

In my case, I use posts as a photo blog. No revisions needed. On the other hand: pages contain business information. Revisions are needed there, in case there is doubt about certain information at a given point.

I suppose there are more people with this kind of need.

Of course, selecting categories and custom post types would make it even more flexible, but that might be more complex to accomplish.
