Splash screen in safari – IOS

As far as I know, Safari on iOS unfortunately does not the web app manifest.

Instead you have to add apple-touch-startup-image links for every possible screen device size: https://blog.expo.dev/enabling-ios-splash-screens-for-progressive-web-apps-34f06f096e5c

There is an apple_touch_startup_images filter coming in v0.7 of the plugin to facilitate this: https://github.com/GoogleChromeLabs/pwa-wp/pull/595

But en lieu of that, you can just add them yourself by outputting them in the wp_head action.
