Splash page doesn’t always show up

  • Hi, I had an old client contact me about their site that uses the Very Simple Splash Page plugin. Some days it works fine, then other days the splash page won’t show up. Then other days, anything you click on throughout the site redirects to the splash page, making it super frustrating to navigate throughout the site. It doesn’t make sense from day to day. I was just wondering if anyone knows what to do? Cookies and caching does not seem to be the issue.

    Hello Shawna1,

    Thank you for contacting.. Yes it only shows once for the user, then you have to clear the cache..Otherwise it will always be there..

    Thanks! That is fine that it only shows once per user, but it would redirect to the splash page in between each click throughout the website, which was odd. I am assuming this must be a weird caching issue as well? Or do you think it could be a conflict between the version of WP versus the version I have of the plugin?
